EAAers Setting Up At Lakeland
April 16 , 2007 — Monday morning's cooler-than-normal temperatures made the EAA staffers from "up North" feel right at home as they prepared EAA displays and exhibits for this week's Sun 'n Fun Fly-In at Lakeland, Florida. EAA plans extensive participation in the annual opening event to the spring fly-in season, including a full-service Member Village, EAA staff and volunteers delivering several forums and workshops, sport pilot-light-sport aircraft activities, special appearances by EAA Founder Paul Poberezny, and more. And about the weather ... nothing to worry about for those planning to attend; the forecast looks absolutely wonderful, with mid-to-upper 80s predicted for the entire week, and no sign of precipitation on the horizon. Sun 'n Fun opens Tuesday morning and runs through Monday, April 23.
